Monday, April 07, 2008 11:30 PM ytd went to have dinner wif BFG to celebrate BB's 23rd B'dae, at Millenia Walk Outback steakhouse. i seriously tink its ex like siao. but still, i shall not complain. since tats the choice of the majority. Maybe i have made the wrg choice of order, shd hav ordered fish n chips instead. well, i tot it was too boring to hav ordered the same tink again. treated Fungy. coz of the heels incident. But den not reallie treated coz in the end she still return 20bucks to mi. But well in the end, the 50bucks was still not enuf to cover all the costs. Well, i believed the crab at AMK would be a much more better choice. i m more a seafood person. well, tats not the main tink i wan to blog abt actuallie. during the dinner, BB started to qns us for a survey which i believed was quite tot-provoking. The qns was sumtink like... did anione of us noe the name of the artist who have chopped of his left ear, the name i remembered was Vincent sumtink. well n he said tat it was a topic addressed by his lecturer. n he was surprised tat the whole LT students were ignorant of such thingy n started to go ee-ing. n he was shocked tat almost the whole LT students do not have dis form of GK. N he seriously tinks the education system was at fault. well, i certainly agree. it occurs to mi too tat wats a uni student wif no basic GK? when such GK would be known by most of the elites fr other countries. i guessed we shd pretty much be ashamed of ourselves. although i admit tat my GK sucks, but i seriously tink tat it should be one of the prerequisites tat WE shd hav in ourselves so as to qualify ourselves as a uni student. well i tot this is rather important, compared to wat guru has commented tat it is reallie sumtink tat shd not matter us. I certainly disagree. Well, besides acknowleding the fact tat in this 21st century reality world, we cun reallie afford not to hav tat piece of degree or a certificate, but i m still persistent on the fact tat tat piece of paper is not everytink. I believed there r more tinks tat shd be worth considering. well, dis is juz sumtink i tot over the dinner. shan't drag this entry. shall go n do sumtink do my revision. gdnite peeps. 真。心话 |
